Alderman | Ward 2

WHAT I'M WORKING ON

Expanding

Business Growth

Supporting small businesses

and encouraging responsible

development beyond

downtown to create jobs,

increase revenue, and

strengthen our community.

Promoting Tourism

That Works

Attrating visitors through

special events and local

experiences that support

our businesses and keep

Plattsburg a place people

want to return to.

Improving Revenue

Without Raising Taxes

Exploring solutions like a

spcecial events vendor tax

that applies to outside

vendors - not local

businesses, to offset city

costs and improve

quality of life

Better Use of

City Property

Finding smart and creative

uses for underutilized

land, like the 14 acres, to

create opportunities for

events, recreation, and

long-term growth.

Expanding Holiday

Traditions

Building on our Christmas

parade and sales event with more vendors,

storytelling, carolers,

and local shopping -

celebrating the story of

Santa Claus Shaver.

Clear, Transparent

Communication

Keeping residents informed

with facts, not rumors,

and making sure your

voice is heard in the

decisions that shape

our small town.

FROM PLANNING TO ACTION

As Chairman of Planning & Zoning, I worked

to improve how Plattsburg approaches zoning

and development, including proposals like

C2-N to preserve property values, support

small businesses, and protect our historic

homes and neighborhoods.

Now on City Council, I'm applying that

experience to broader decisions that drive

economic growth, protect our heritage,

and build a stronger future for Plattsburg.
